Without a doubt, Manta Reef is one of the world’s best places to dive and see Oceanic and resident manta rays. Primarily a feeding area, some mantas do hover over the reef for a clean within a few feet of divers.
Manta Reef is a 40 minute boat ride from the resort and we see mantas on about 80% of all dives. Even without these magnificent creatures, the reef itself is outstanding in its quality and diversity of fish life. It is also a site where we occasionally see a Great Hammerhead shark as well as Pacific Sailfish.
