Many of the local dive shops are sources for group or individual travel, offer social activities and offer advance training to keep you active when you can’t be in paradise.
If you prefer to do your first dives in the tropics, just let your local dive shop know you want to do the ‘first part’ of an open water course: academic and pool work.
This way, you come to Fiji with only the really fun part to do – 4 open water dives (and many times it’s nicer than the cold and dark waters of home!).More info here…
With your PADI Instructor you complete the deep and underwater navigation Adventure Dives. These dives boost your confidence as you build these foundational skills. Then, you choose three additional dives from more than 15 Adventure Dives to complete your course.
You can go diving at night or even fly through the ocean on a diver propulsion vehicle – all during your PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course.More info here…
Although this course is challenging, it is a rewarding way to build your confidence. PADI Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies.
